Oversized vs Regular Fit: A Size Guide With Real Measurements

Our oversized tee measures about seven inches wider across the chest than our regular tee. Here's how to use that to pick your size.

Size labels only tell part of the story. Two T-shirts marked 'M' can fit completely differently depending on the cut. The most reliable way to choose is to compare garment measurements — so here are ours.

Lengths follow the same pattern: the regular tee runs from 25 to 29 inches, while the oversized tee runs from 28.5 to 30.5 inches, so it sits a little lower on the hips.

Measure a T-shirt you already love

  • Lay it flat and smooth it out without stretching.
  • Measure straight across, armpit to armpit, and double it for the chest number.
  • Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem for length.
  • Compare with the charts above and pick the closest size.

Which fit is right for you?

Choose regular if you like a clean, close silhouette that tucks easily or layers under a jacket. Choose oversized if you want the relaxed, dropped-shoulder streetwear look. Want oversized but not too roomy? Many people size down one from their usual.

Every product on our site has its own size chart, and our 350 GSM hoodies and sweatshirts also list sleeve and shoulder measurements.
